Starting now – 2 great competitions for the summer holidays from the Bridge. Search out your favourite local building in the parish.

For ages 11 and younger – paint us a picture. For age 11 and older – take a photograph. We have paper, pens etc if you need them and we can print photos out (max 3 per person).

We also have reference books about local history. Bring entries to us before Judging Day, Saturday 5 September, there will be prizes.

2 Great Village Competitions

There is still time to enter 2 great village competitions! “Grow the tallest sunflower” £2.50 buys you entry and 5 premium Fothergills Giant Single sunflower seeds. “Flowerpot Festival” £5 entry fee, prizes for the best 3 displays. Entry forms from the General Havelock or Pauline at Scotch Arms. Judging will be on August Bank Monday. Don’t forget we have free pots to recycle at the Bridge patio, please help yourselves.

Bridge Room Hire

Bridge Produce Stall

Our new produce stall is in full swing! Current offerings include apples, veg and sweet Williams, pics are posted to the local Facebook page, so keep looking

In addition to plant-based donations from individuals and allotmenteers, the coming weeks will see donations from the Nurture Project too. All proceeds go towards keeping the Bridge open, so give generously.
