Haydon Bridge is just off the A69, roughly half an hour’s drive from the A1 at Newcastle upon Tyne and the M6 at Carlisle. A daytime hourly bus service (685) connects the village with Hexham and Newcastle in the east and Brampton and Carlisle in the west, and connects with AD122 Hadrian’s Wall Bus.
