The work by Network Rail will take place overnight only on the following dates and times:-

• Tuesday 24 March 23:30 to Wednesday 25 March 05:30
• Wednesday 25 March 23:30 to Thursday 26 March 05:30

The work will involve jetting the track drainage on the railway. To complete the work, staff will be using a JetVac machine (drain cleaner) which may cause some noise whilst in operation and whilst it travels to and from the worksite.

More Haydon Bridge night work is scheduled from 23:30 on Saturday 21 March 2026 to 08:30 on Sunday 22 March 2026.  Noise is expected for residents nearby
